About Me

I am a mother, teacher, wife, and caregiver who’s just trying to find balance in my crazy life. There are days when I feel that I’m doing a great job of mastering all my roles. Then there are other days when I feel crawling under my bedcovers and giving up.

When I first started the idea of a blog, it was 2014, and my husband had been speech disabled after a stroke just four years previously. On a whim, I literally wrote one post and put it aside–for more than 9 years! Not only was I not up to the technical challenge, but I convinced myself that no one would be interested in what I had to say.

Fast forward to 2023, and now I realize that maybe there are some of you that may relate to my stories. I also, after all these years, may have a better perspective on all that has happened to me, and realize that even though I always have a lot on my plate, I am really grateful for all the good that has come my way. Hopefully by sharing what insight I do have on being a mother, a teacher, a wife, and a caregiver, whether or not you share those roles with me, you will relate to how we all could use balance to our daily lives.

Please join me on my continued journey as I share my stories, along with some of my other eclectic interests with you on this blog. And please feel free to comment as I always welcome feedback and enjoy hearing other’s ideas and opinions.
